A World Of Music with John Zeretzke

World Music Workshops involve young students or adults with learning about instrumental and cultural music from around the world. We will make and decorate our own instruments - either string, wind or percussion - and will learn how to play and perform music on our new creations. In some classes, we will even compose and record our own compositions. Our process of musical discoveries becomes a powerful tool for learning and helps us to understanding more about ourselves as individuals. Our activities will relate to science, language arts, mathematics, geography, physics, social studies, visual arts, dance and other areas of diverse learning. All thematic and directed lessons tailored to each situation and program design. VAPA and state standards connections, if requested for school venues.
