Biography of John Zeretzke
In 2000 Zeretzke was a honored recipient of the P.A.S.A. Award, (Professional Artist in the Schools), an Lifetime Achievement Award for his work in the schools in California.
Zeretzke continues to be a leading Artist/Educator and presenter in the schools nationally and throughout southern California.
He is associated with numerous leadership and educational organizations in the state including the Music Center of Los Angeles County, the California Arts Project and Literature Projects and The California Leadership Academy.
He performs for thousands of students every year in educational programs he has directed and developed for schools in California and across the nation.
Zeretzke was Music Director, educational specialist and soloist with the prestigious Aman Folk Ensemble in Los Angeles for over thirteen years.
His recent work with The American Red Cross, The American Cancer Society and The Ronald McDonald House for kids fighting cancer has taken him to many different states to bring his music and personal inspiration to thousands of youth across the country.
John lives in the beautiful arts community of Ojai, California just north of Los Angeles near the coast.
