Martin Espino
Martin Espino is of indigenous Yaqui and Tepehuano ancestry from Mexico. Martin, specialist of ancient instruments of Ancient Mexico as well as from other parts of Ancient North, Central and South America. He was one of the founding members of the folk group YATIRI and was the composer and Artistic Director of NAHUALLI ENSEMBLE, both legendary groups that perform music of Central and South American cultures. Martin has received numerous awards from ASCAP and Meet The Composer for his 'New Traditional Works' and compositions.
