Malik Sow
Malik Sow is a master drummer, composer, and choreographer from Dakar, in Senegal, West Africa, Malik followed in his mother's footsteps and became a performer of traditional music from the ancient Malian empire.
Malik was the Musical Director for the National Ballet of Senegal and later became the Director and Choreographer for the prestigious Les Ballets Africains.
Malik's travels brought him to Los Angeles in 1992 where he founded Mussukeba Sane West African Dance Ensemble.
Malik has also appeared and performed as an actor in several feature films, including POETIC JUSTICE, DISTINGUISHED GENTLEMAN, andAMISTAD.
